What is Natur-O-Max?

Natur-O-Max is a bio-stimulant. It is principally composed of algae, enriched with a growth hormone (gibberellin). It is PH neutral and all the components are certified "organic".

How can a growth hormone be included if it’s certified organic?

The hormone is a 100% natural component of an alga from the Sea of Japan. These algae have a naturally high concentration of gibberellins. The growth hormone is extracted thru a process of maceration and decantation.

Where do the algae in the product come from?

They are harvested near the coast of Gaspé.

Is it any good for indoor plants?

Natur-O-Max is great for either indoor or outdoor plants. Natur-O-Max is safe for fruits and garden vegetables EXCEPT for salad greens (which go to seed).

Natur-O-Max is very effective for flower plants, either annual or perennial. The results may vary from 15% to 100% as to plant size and from 20% to 100% as to flower abundance depending on the species. The stem is usually longer and sturdier also.

Is it any good for cacti?

Cacti, having a sturdier “bark”, take longer to absorb the prduct. Therefore, the results are slower to manifest themselves.

Any counter indications?

Of course, like most natural or chemical fertilzers, Natur-O-Max should not be applied in full sun. A sufficient time for the plant to dry should be allowed before the sun hits it. The best period to apply it is either in covered weather, early morning or in the evening.

Is Natur-O-Max good for plants in full sun?

Yes, provided Natur-O-Max has dried before the sun hits the plant.

Is Natur-O-Max good for Bonsai?

It is good for the plant, but since a Bonsai is a miniature plant, a growth hormone would defeat the purpose.

Is Natur-O-Max a fertilizer?

Natur-O-Max is a concentrate of nutritious elements with a growth hormone. The algae feeds and reinforces the plant’s immune system. It prolongs the youthful period of the plant making it grow further and realize its full genetic potential.

What happens if I give my plants fertilizer and Natur-O-Max?

Natur-O-Max gives your plant the potential to use the fertilizer with maximum efficiency.

Any danger in fertilizing while using Natur-O-Max?

None, though beware that with or without Natur-O-Max too much fertilizer can burn your plants.

You say Natur-O-Max reinforces the immune system of plants; will it rid it of insects?

Natur-O-Max is not an insecticide. It can only help the plant resist illness. Being sturdier might help it resist an insect attack, but it won’t cure it.

Is Natur-O-Max hazardous to kids or animals?

All the components of Natur-O-Max are certified "organic" and harmless. An independent research center has tested it and declared it non toxic for living creatures.

Does it affect the taste of fruits or vegetables?

We have not tasted Natur-O-Max! But the product is made from algae and should taste "marine-like". The taste, however, does not transfer to the fruits or vegetables.

Does it smell?

The odour is light and has a marine quality. Most people don’t notice it and it quickly dissipates.

How is Natur-O-Max applied?

Nature-O-Max should be sprayed on the leaves once a week during the growth period of the plant. To be used as is, no mixing.

Should I avoid the flowers?

Natur-O-Max has no effect on the flower other than prolonging the life of the cut flower.

Is Natur-O-Max any good for seeds?

In order to accelerate germination it is recommended to saturate the seed with Natur-O-Max before sowing.

Is Natur-O-Max good for bulbs?

Natur-O-Max may be used to saturate the bulb before planting. Also, spraying once a week will stimulate growth, increasing flower production and plant size.

Will my plant burn out earlier with Natur-O-Max?

No, though it has spectacular effects on the plant's flowering and growth, it does not age it. Instead, it prolongs the growth period thus enabling the plant to realize its full genetic potential.
